Before troubleshooting manually, check the pearOS Welcome app - it has one-click fixes for most of the common issues:
- Update System - regular
pacman -Syu - Update Mirrorlist - re-ranks your pacman mirrors
- Fix Liquid Gel - updates the system and reinstalls
pearos-liquidgelin one go - Fix Pacman Keys - rebuilds your pacman keyring and re-signs the pearOS archive key
- Fix Layout - restores the default dock/top menu/theme layout (resets customizations)
- Wifi Drivers - detects your WiFi adapter and installs the right driver (
wifiutil) - GPU Drivers - detects your GPU and installs the right driver (
hyprvisor) - Screen Resolution - opens display settings
If you closed the Welcome app, you can reopen it from the app menu by searching for "Welcome".
