What desktop environment does pearOS use?

KDE Plasma - reskinned to look and feel like macOS (custom dock, top menu bar, notch/Dynamic Island, window borders, Liquid Gel slider, lockscreen, etc.) rather than stock Plasma.

That means most standard KDE/Plasma tooling, settings and troubleshooting (System Settings, plasmashell, kwin) still applies underneath the pearOS branding.
